How much do you know about the UK? This course will track the news and current affairs going on in the UK for a period of three months. Inevitably, we will need to add to our background knowledge of how the British political system works, the role of the monarchy and what it does, the media and how it is structured, British sports, social trends, art and pretty much anything that presents itself to us during the term. This will give us a window into British society and allow us to broaden our knowledge of what makes Britain tick.
Credits will be awarded for a 2500-word research paper based on a project developed by students themselves.
