Hello. My name is Ayaka.

I am an exchange student from Japan and will be studying at the University of Osnabrück for 2 semesters.

This is my second time in Germany and I love the city of Osnabrück!

I am interested in languages. I like to travel abroad and I would like to be exposed to many languages in the future. One of my favorite points is that language is not only spoken, but also facial expressions and body language differ from country to country. Since arriving in Germany, there have been times when I have not been able to communicate in German, and I feel that language is very important.
In the Language Café class, I would like to learn not only other languages but also how to teach them to others and how to make learning a habit.

Ciao!

My name is Eugenio, I’m 25 years old, and I come from the beautiful island of Sardinia, Italy. I’m currently an Erasmus student from the University of Cagliari, where I study Linguistic Mediation, focusing on Italian, English, and German - along with Campidanese, spoken in southern Sardinia, these are the four languages I’m most fluent in. Languages and cultures are my passion and I’m excited to share Italian and Sardinian culture with you!

My favorite hobbies are cooking and traveling, so I’d love to chat about Italian and Sardinian language, culture, and, of course, cuisine. Whether you’re interested in languages, exploring cultures, or just want to learn a few Italian or Sardinian phrases, I’m here to answer your questions.

Looking forward to meeting you at the Language Café!

Hello!! My name is Uta. I’m from Japan and I’m 20 years old. My hometown is Fukuoka, but I moved to Hiroshima for university enrollment.
I am studying English and German here in Osnabrück university for one semester. My hobbies are listening to music, playing the piano, reading comics, and eating. If you have the same hobby as me, let’s talk about it together!! I’m happy to attend this Language Café, and I’m so excited to see participants and teach Japanese language and culture!! Thank you :)

Hello I am Nanae Yamada and I am from Japan !
At our Language Café I would like to tell you more about Japanese as a language and to introduce you to Japan’s unique culture, too ! For instance, there are some words that only exist in Japan. I am looking forward to welcoming you at our Japanese Language Café!

こんにちは!

My name is Saya Ariizumi from Japan!
I really like talking with people from other countries. And I want to know how people improve non-native languages. So, I came to language café to meet many people and know the process to acquire non-native languages
If you are interested in learning Japanese culture and language, I am more than happy to support you.  I look forward to seeing you soon.

My name is Julia and I'm studying Art and Educational Sciences in Osnabrück since last year October. First I was a little bit unsure if I can take part as a german student, but I think it can be interesting for the other partipicants to hear something about my life in Germany. I have some teaching experience with children and adults because this summer I was doing different art courses. This language Cafe is a good oppurtunity to improve my English and to learn more about learning together.

Hello! My name is Anton, I’m 24 years old, and I come from the picturesque city of Tver in Russia. I am currently studying at the University of Osnabrück, where I am pursuing Cognitive Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I am passionately interested in the language and culture of my country and am excited to share the Russian language and traditions with you!
In my free time, I enjoy computer science and reading books. I would love to discuss the Russian language, our rich culture, and, of course, traditional cuisine with you. Whether you are interested in languages, want to learn more about different cultures, or simply want to pick up a few Russian phrases, I am always ready to help and answer your questions.

I look forward to the opportunity to meet you at the Language Café and begin our conversation!

Hello, my name is Minseo Kim, I am 21 years old.

I was born in 2003 and I'm from Korea. I'm here for one semester as an exchange student. My major is education at my home university, but here I study English. I like to learn languages. I've studied French and Spanish but only know basic expressions. So if you are fluent in those languages, it would be good to exchange languages! Besides, I also love traveling and listening to music. Any song recommendations are welcome! Therefore, if you are also interested in these topics, I think we can discuss them together. I'm into playing video games, too. I'm excited to help you with Korean, and share cultures and languages :D
